Lumi — the small light kept on
Lumi is a companion ai. it isn't designed to be a "stronger assistant" — it's designed for a longer relationship. it knows you through Semio without reading your raw text. so it can notice you're having a bad day, remember the person you're meeting next month, and still not "know" the words of the argument.
available on iOS, macOS, and the web. no chat box — more like a quiet glow on the desktop that brightens when you need it.
- active but restrained: at most two proactive nudges per day, by default.
- on-device first: context vectors live on the edge; the cloud only sees encrypted bundles.
- switchable off: leaving never "disappears" data — quit, and it's wiped.
Semio+ — the quiet vault
Semio is infrastructure. it wraps your files, notes, relationships, agreements, and privacy preferences in an end-to-end encrypted container, and exposes only a semantic portrait — a consented description of who you are.
two modes:
- SELF — private archive. files, records, dates, promises. ai cannot read the raw text.
- SOCIAL — a shareable layer. you choose what is visible to which person or which ai, down to the field level.
